This is an exciting role for a player-focused social media manager, where you will have the opportunity to take the lead in player communication across all our social media platforms as well as in-game. You will ensure our players are engaged and feel part of the New QuizDuel game family with proactive communication to increase positive player comments!
You will use your creativity and communication skills to create a fun and informative experience on social media that our players will love engaging with.
Relationship building is key to this role as you will work with the New QuizDuel game team and the wider marketing team to create an engaging and consistent experience for our players. You will also work to grow the new live trivia game mode QuizDuel Live on New QuizDuel’s social media channels.
About New QuizDuel
Launched globally in May 2020, New QuizDuel is the successor to the classic QuizDuel game, where users challenge friends and other players around the world in trivia.
New QuizDuel also introduced the new multiplayer game mode Arena, where the player competes against four other people to climb leaderboards.
In early March 2021 a new exciting live trivia game mode was added to the German market: QuizDuel Live! This means we have live trivia shows within the app which are led by a German-speaking host. These shows are broadcast several days a week. The live shows are around ten minutes long and players compete by answering up to 12 questions. Players can win lifesavers or tickets to enter the Arena game mode, but other exciting prizes will be added in the future!
QuizDuel is one of the biggest games in Germany with over 40 million German-speaking users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland having played the game. We want to keep building on this amazing trivia experience and we are hoping you can help to boost it even further!

- Drive player engagement and retention through strategic content campaigns
- Work closely with the game team and the CMO to develop a content strategy which defines the tone of voice for New QuizDuel across multiple channels
- Be creative when building your content strategy to ensure our players; have a place to talk, have fun things to talk about, are able to stay up to date with new features and remain engaged with the game
- Be responsible for and coordinate all content updates across various channels such as; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and more
- Be responsible for and coordinate all in-game communication
- Use a consistent and ‘fun’ tone of voice in response to player comments across social channels
- Represent the players voice within the company
- Keep up to date with current and new social media trends
- Work closely with the game team to grow a strong understanding of the game and to keep up to date with new features and events etc
- Collaborate with the QuizDuel team, the content team, the wider marketing, user acquisition and PR teams at MAG to create a uniform approach to communication
- Have a strong understanding of data analytics to judge the effectiveness of your campaigns
- Report into the CMO
- Social media and community management experience is essential
- German native-level written and verbal language skills
- Strong English language skills
- Strong copywriting experience
- A passion for mobile games
- A strong drive to engage people and grow reach in social channels
